The aim of the design and built competition was to modernize and expand the existing Steigerwald Stadium. The athletic track was supposed to be preserved. The curved arrangement of the new stands is perfectly integrated with the existing west stand and creates a uniform appearance. Furthermore the comfortable new grandstand offers a generous business and event area. Team of vision4venue was responsible for the overall planning of the project as a participant of a design and built competition, and also has done estimation and value engineering for the stadium.
