Arena Varaždin

This arena is located in the outskirts of the city, in the middle of a forest area by the Drava River, where it creates a new urban environment along the river. It includes a separate training hall, press area and VIP Lounges. It was built to host the 21st World Handball Championship in 2009. Other sport facilities, such as bowling, tennis, basketball, soccer and beach volleyball (possible by means of telescopic stands), as well as restaurants, cafes and wellness area complete the offer. Team members of vision4venue were involved in the design process and in the arena management.
