Stadium Wroclaw (Stadion Miejski)
The one-tier Stadium in Wroclaw was built to host the UEFA 2012 Football Championship. The stands are opened with areas such as restaurants facing outwards. This vast internal space serves as an open stair access with a view of the illuminated underside of the stands. The architectural and structural highlights are the circular net structure and the oval shape of the roof. All seats are covered and have an unrestricted view of the pitch. The stadium has two circular esplanade levels with utilities, VIP and business lounges, as well as facilities for teams, officials and media representatives. There are also conference rooms with rows of seats in front, as well as offices, restaurants, a physiotherapy center with fitness studio, casino and disco. Three elements determine the structure of the oval stadium: a reinforced steel structure that supports the main stand, a steel structure mounted on the tribunes and a glass-fiber shell fixed to the outer rings with a PTFE Teflon coating. Team members of vision4venue were involved in the design process, project management, were responsible for execution, and were members of the internal board for stadium roof.
